
8 Layered Dip
My eight layer dip is a show stopper. You can make it healthier with ground turkey. A great dish for parties or when you have to have a quick inexpensive app. This has always been very popular with family and friends. It’s simple but fun and easy to make.
8 Layered Dip
Ingredients
- 1Lb Grass-fed Organic Beef (Local if Possible) or Ground Turkey
- 2Cans Organic Black or Pinto Refried Beans
- 2Jars Texan Queso or Local Queso
- 1Bag Shredded Lettuce
- 2 Ripe AvocadosMashed add salt, pepper, 1/2 lime, jalepeno diced
- 1 Tomato Chopped
- 1/2 Sweet Texan Onion Chopped
- 1Package Taco Seasoning
- 1 Lime
- 2Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1Can Sliced Black Olives
- 1Cup Sour Cream
Instructions
- In a medium frying pan brown meat then add onion & sautéed until cooked. Add taco seasoning package & 1/2 lime squeezed.
- Heat queso & bean dip separately.
- In a glass bowl, pyrex, or square container (your choice). I change up what I use depending on my event. Layer beef on the bottom. Then add warmed queso. Next add a layer of the refried beans.
- Follow layers in this order avocado, cheddar, sour cream, and shredded lettuce. Shredded lettuce is the last layer.
- On top of the lettuce add tomato & olives like a salad topper.
