In 2009, I decided it was time to open my own farmers market business, specializing in local gluten free baked goods. French Lavender Bakery was created as a farm to table farmers market business. I started with her delicious gluten free banana breads, homemade local strawberry lavender jams, and organic baked goods. I was one of the first vendors at the Brentwood & Downtown farmers markets to feature gluten free items that were not frozen, and gave people with severe food allergies a chance to enjoy fresh baked goods. Eventually French Lavender Bakery evovled into a full service catering company.
In 2012, I became a mother and decided to relocate with my husband to Austin. I wanted to be closer to her family that had moved three years prior. In 2016, we settled in Dripping Springs and recently had a second daughter. After four years of working part time, I decided I wanted to help other busy families learn how to cook healthy meals.
